The Milwood Neighborhood Watch Association is 26 years old. With about 8,000 residents, Milwood is considered Kalamazoo’s second-largest neighborhood in terms of population. Being sized at 4.8 square miles in area, Milwood is considered Kalamazoo’s largest neighborhood in terms of geographic area. We are a gateway for entering the Kalamazoo area with the largest concentration of hotels and motels in SW Michigan and have easy access to the I-94 freeway.  We are a 501-c-3 non-profit organization.

We are home to four area schools, the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport, various company headquarters such as Fabri-Kal, Schupan & Sons, Imperial Beverage and Continental Linen Supply.  Also, home to MDOT SW Michigan Regional offices, Consumers Energy Regional Operations facility, Wings Event Center, Kalamazoo County Road Commission, Pepsi Regional Bottling &Operations, and a Division of Zoetis.  Also, home to the original strip mall in Kalamazoo the Cork Lane Shopping Center, as well as, the busiest brew pub in Southwest Michigan in One Well Brewing, along with many independently owned small businesses.

The Milwood Neighborhood Watch Association is dedicated to preserving the safety and quality of life of its residents, businesses, churches and schools.

The Milwood Neighborhood is a great place to live, work, shop, play and stay.

Our goal is to keep our area safe.
